When the news web site I work for (USATODAY.com) reported that the Vatican web site had published an e-mail address for the new Pope Benedict XVI, I decided to send His Holiness a brief note. Here's what I wrote:Most Holy Father,
Warm congratulations on your election and fervent prayers for your ministry and your Communion from a brother in Christ under the See of Canterbury. May God richly bless your ministry, may you show forth His Kingdom, and may your work as His shepherd abundantly bless the world He so loves.
Christ's peace and Christ's strength,
Michael Croghan

Just like the President, no doubt he personally reads every one. ;-)
Just a personal web journal, often on theological topics. It's "rude" in three senses: "crude" in that I have little formal theological training; "offensive" in that the things I write unintentionally tick folks off sometimes, and "rough" in the form of occasional spicy language. If any of that turns you off, then I'm sorry to see you go. Otherwise, welcome!
